Experience Pacific - Rim Cuisine at it's best. Our Australian chef Sean Kiely brings together the fusion of international cuisine using fresh local produce.

From humble beginnings, and after a period of being one of Simon's Town's best kept secrets, Boulders Beach Restaurant has grown to be recognised as one of the top restaurants in the area. Our menu features Pacific Rim Cuisine, by Australian Head Chef Sean Kiely, which he studied during his extensive travels through Asia and across the globe.

Our entire menu is revised every three months. A few subtle changes are made and invariably a number of new dishes are introduced, which portray passion perfectly through flavour and presentation. Complementing the menu are various specials that change on a daily basis, an extensive wine selection chosen by a sophisticated palate and an earthly comfort that won't be ingored.

If you are seeking a unique and different eating experience where the environment is sincere, hospitable with a touch of old world charm, then phone to book your table today as bookings are essential. 021 786 1758.

A mellow and minimalist decor makes for a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant where we serve only the finest food with the freshest produce selected by our Head Chef. The interior of the restaurant is warm and vibrant, where Jacques Dhont's sculptures enhance the ambience. Black wattle bark sculptures adorn the walls, delivering prehistoric hints as our planet's life formed, giving a subtle yet distinctly African and ocean feel to the place. The sea view is best enjoyed from our outdoor terrace which seats 56 people and our rustic charm best appreciated indoors which seats 42 people.

DID YOU KNOW? The breeding range of the African penguin extends from Hollamsbird Island, off central Namibia, to Bird Island in Algoa Bay. The African penguin is the only penguin species that breeds in Africa, and it is found nowhere else in the world. Its distribution coincides roughly with the cold, nutrient rich, Benguela Current, but is further determined by the availability of offshore islands as breeding sites.
